It may seem unremarkable on a side street, but this hotel has a perfect 10/10 location because everything is within walking distance: 1 minute to a 24/7 CVS supermarket, 5 minutes to the famous Miami Beach (South Beach), 5 minutes to Lincoln Road (shopping street with many restaurants), 30 seconds to the best acai bowls in Miami, 5 minutes to bus 100 that goes directly to Downtown Miami, yet it's quiet because it's located on a side street. Ocean Drive is about a 12-minute walk away. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe near the hotel and generally in Miami Beach, both day and night. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me with everything, absolutely fantastic! The rooms weren't super new, but they were clean. The bed was super comfortable, and there was a fridge, ironing utensils, and a hairdryer. The only thing I didn't like, as a German who values "lüften" 😄 (airing out rooms), was that the windows couldn't be opened (but there was air conditioning). What I can't assess are the pool (it was still being renovated) and the breakfast (I did not book). I will return to the beautiful city of Miami one day and will definitely stay at the Albion again! The location is great. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is lovely but the issue is that the pool is not renovated and that really is an issue because that is a big selling point to wanting to be there, but it will be done soon and when it is the hotel will go up in value!

From the time I walked in the door..8pm I was greeted and the clerk was so nice. I had booked another hotel and for some reason that stay didn’t include the night I stayed at the Albion and they did not have a room available that night the 11th. I found another room, called my uber and OMG I wouldn’t let my dog stay there!!! Pictures were very VERY misleading. No refund but ohhh well lesson learned. I then found a room at the Albion! Marvelous is all I can say!! 15/10 is how I would rate it! I will be staying here at all my future visits! Thank you Albion for making my horrible day a great day!

Firstly, they very kindly upgraded our room so that was a lovely surprise when we arrived. The room was large with plenty seating and the bed was really comfortable. The position was perfect. Just 2 blocks from the beach, very near the shops and the meeting places for many of the tours. The staff were very helpful, particularly the information given regarding the bus times and costs. The lobby was very inviting with lots of little places to sit and enjoy. The breakfast area was a mezzanine balcony overlooking the lobby, a lovely position. Although the swimming pool wasn't finished, as we were only in Miami for 3 days and it was our first time so we spent most of our time exploring, it didn't really matter. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it

I always choose a hotel etc based on a few characteristics. Location and cost are two of those. Albion Hotel really delivered on these points! Wow!- two blocks from the gorgeous beach. Restaurants and bars all around. Bar in the lobby, excellent breakfast and free coffee. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a safe area but in addition had a door attendant at night in addition to the desk staff. Albion is a little bit older but an excellent value for the money and the hotel was making improvements and updating facilities, pool, etc. I would stay here again!
